Day 1: Arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) – Darjeeling, about 88km about 3 hours of journey.

Upon your arrival at IXB or NJP our driver will pick you up and do the smooth transfer to Darjeeling which is about 2134 m. Check in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay in a hotel at Darjeeling.

Day 2: Darjeeling Full day sightseeing

Start the day early morning about 4 am and drive to Tiger Hill which is 2590m to witness the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga that is the world’s third highest peak. On the way back visit the Ghoom Monastry and Batasia Loop. After breakfast a tour to the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute and Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park which is generally closed on Thursday also a visit to Chitrey Tea Garden an outer view, Tenzing Rock, Japanese Temple and Peace Pagoda. Visit to Chowrasta and Mall Road to walk around in the evening.

Day 3: Darjeeling to Gangtok about 4 Hours of Drive and 110 KM away

Immediately after breakfast move to Gangtok. Enroute stop at Lopchu for tea. Enjoy the View Point to see the breath taking confluence of the River Teesta and River Rangit. Then check in at the hotel at Gangtok. Have a stroll at MG Marg and stay overnight.

Day 4: Gangtok a full day local sight seeing

After having breakfast proceed for a full day Gangtok town tour that includes Bakthang Waterfalls, Directorate of Handicraft, Ganesh Tok, Tashi view point Enchey Monastry and Handloom, Do Drul Chorten Stupa, Flower Show, Institute of Tibetology, Ropeway and Banjhakri Falls. Return to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 5: Gangtok, Tsomgo Lake Excursion

Start for Tsomgo Lake at 8am early in the morning which is 12,400 feet height 3750 m away and around 3 hours of drive. You can also visit Baba Harbhajan Mandir which is at 13,200 feet and 4000 m away. Locals consider the Tsomgo Lake as a sacred lake. Return to Gangtok after the visit by evening and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Gangtok, Bagdogra Airport (IXB) or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) which is 130 km away takes about 4 hours of drive
