Day 1: You will reach either New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or the Bagdogra Airport (IXB)

You will be smoothly transferred to Darjeeling (2134 m) which is just 88 km and 3 hours’ drive. Check in at the hotel and spend the rest of your day at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2: Darjeeling (Full day will be dedicated for the local sightseeing)

The day of your trip will start early in the morning at 4 am. From your hotel we will drive to the Tiger Hill (2590 m) to witness the spectacular and the mesmerizing sunrise over Mt. Kanchenjunga which is the world’s 3rd highest peak. We promise you that your hard effort to wake up at 4Am will not be wasted at all. On your way back we will visit the Ghoom Monastry and the Batasia Loop. Then after the spectacular sun rise in the morning we will have our breakfast. After the breakfast we will visit the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Tenzing Rock Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park which is closed on Thursday, Chitrey Tea Gardens (we will just have an outer view) then we will go Japanese Temple and at last the Peace Pagoda. Then after the hectic day we will go to the go to Chowrasta and the Mall Road for an evening stroll.

Day 3: Darjeeling – This day we will go to Mirik (49 km/2hrs drive)

After your breakfast we will proceed to the Mirik Lake (5800 ft) which is nestled in the forest. Mirik is quite famous for its artificial lake. Here we can do boating, enjoy the fresh oranges from the orange orchards, we will go to see the cardamom plantation and the tea gardens of course. You can also stop for tea at Simana View Point and enjoy the sips of the Sikkim tea with the beautiful view of the forests. On our way back we will visit Pashupati market which is located at the Nepal border. Here you can do some shopping. Then we will return to the hotel in Darjeeling and stay there overnight.

Day 4: Darjeeling – On this day we will go to Gangtok (4 Hours Drive/110 KM)

After the breakfast we will quickly proceed to Gangtok. Enroute to Gangtok we will stop at Lopchu for a short break of tea and we will also see the Lovers Meet View Point. Here you can enjoy the beautiful, spectacular and breathtaking view of the confluence of the River Teesta and River Rangit. Then after reaching Gangtok we will check in at the hotel. After checking in we will go for a stroll at MG Marg and stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Gangtok local sightseeing

After having the breakfast we will proceed for a full day Gangtok sightseeing tour which includes places like the Bakthang Waterfalls, Ganesh Tok, Tashi view point, Do Drul Chorten Stupa,Enchey Monastry, Institute of Tibetology, Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom, Banjhakri falls, Ropeway and at last the beautiful Flower Show. Then we return to the hotel and Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 6: Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir Excursion

Our day will start at early morning around 8 am. After having our breakfast we will leave for the Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft/3750 m) which is a 3 hours’ drive from Gangtok. We will also visit the Baba Harbhajan Mandir (13,200 ft/4000 m). As per the locals in this place the Tsomgo Lake is considered to be a sacred lake. Then after this we will return to Gangtok by evening and stay overnight in our Gangtok hotel.

Day 7: Gangtok – New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) ( 130km/4 hrs drive)

We check out from the hotel and leave for Gangtok – New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) or the Bagdogra Airport (IXB) departing with the sweet and happy memories. Tour Ends!!
